Just because the crown chakra is at the top of our head doesn't mean we will all master the headstand. Find what works for you. You can always try a different chakra healing attunement like crystals or essential oils.
Balance and concentration are the keys here... squat first then place elbows beside knees, hands on floor and rock forward. Keep a gentle gaze on floor in front of you.
I found another way to "get up" into this one: lay flat on back, bring your knees up but feet still on the floor. Then push up with your feet so your rear end comes off the floor, then get your arms in place as above, hands on the small of your back and Voila! Keep your legs as straight as you can, keep breathing throughout.
Yoga Head Stand
It's a good idea to use a wall for support if you're new to this pose or to yoga in general. Pleasant discomfort is ok, listen to your body and modify if you need to. There's no right or wrong here.
As with all things...be gentle with yourself.
